Hi Guys
I was thinking of the English wheel they do.
Which there doesn't seem to be an equivalent available in the uk.
There are of course engish wheels available but nothing of that size and value that I have found at any rate...

Hi
I'm afraid in Europe we don't have the stuff available that you guys in the states do and shipping and duty make it unfortunaly impossible to buy in the states.
There doesn't seem to be an eqivalent over hear to Harbour freight.I have been reading up on there machines and the mods people have made to improve them with great interest and envy. They seem great value.
I am just making bike stuff at the mo so a small bench top set up should hold me for a while.
Does anybody know where there stuff is made.Wouldn't surprise me to learn that it has crossed the Atlantic......

Hi Guys
So am I right in thinking that both top and bottom bearing should be the same width and the top bearing double the size of the bottom one.

Im trying to get as much info as poss over the weekend so I can hassle my bearing supplier on monday and start sticking it all together.

Thanks

Quote from: "enjenjo"Ok, i can give you part numbers for Timken, Bower BCA, Fafnir, SKF, FM,  and many other brands. If you let me know what brands you can get, I can give you a number for that brand.

Hiya
If you could give me skf numbers that would be great or an idea of what sizes they are.

Thanks

Hi
No sorry my bearing supplier has no info on them.
I think in the UK we have different suppiers and manufacturors and its difficult to trace stuff off part no.
If I could get an idea of outside diameter and width I could match something up I know its not crucial but I'm guessing from the photo's at the mo.

Hi Guys
I'm in the middle of building the bench top English wheel in the Tech section.Unfortunately having some difficulty identifying the bearings.
In the UK trying to get them from the part no or bore size is proving difficult .Its the outside dimentions I could do with or whats written on the bearing.
I'm guessing but the self aligning bearing looks to be about 13/8 or 2" and the wheel bearing about 3" or 31/4. An idea of the widths would be good too.

Thanks
