I have a copy but I am located in Canada. I could scan and email the section to you if that would help.

I fit a tank above the rear kick up and under the back seat in my 28 Tudor. The tank I used was from a 1988 Suzuki Corsa but the same tank is used in a lot of GM small cars. The depth of the tank is about 6", I have a 3" kick up on my car, and it fits above the frame and within the subrails of the body without modifying the tank or subrails and I ran the filler neck out the back of the car. I am also a tall person and have good head room in the back seat.

In my 28 'A' I used a 74 maverick 8". It is 56 1/2" and the model 'A' original is 56". I picked 2 of mine up, drum to drum, at a pick you parts for $15 Canadian but I am not sure if you have this option. Salvage yards that removed them for you wanted 180 to 200 bucks.

Rodder's Roundtable / 30-31 model A Question
July 25, 2004, 02:05:26 PM
I looked a 30 'A' this weekend and thought I might be able to get a tip for you but the car was nailed at the top just like the original and had no sealing on it. I think the seam sealer will work good as long as the panel can be secured so that the nails don't loosen and allow the sealer to crack.

I talked to a guy with a 28 'A" that tack welded all the way along where the panels meet and then used seam sealer to seal over the welds and seam. It looked good to me and I am going to try this with my 28 'A'.
