Thanks guys, y'all have never let me down.

My friend upgraded my truck to the 72 disk system. I believe that I have to change out my old master cylinder, and the 72 was already robbed. I searched and didn't find my answer but over the last 6 years here I know that I have read many inputs, so guys help me if you can. What is a good junk yard swap, I already had a booster system, Thanks for your time and trouble, Steve  

Maybe I need to rephrase my question. Which years 5 lug axles will interchange with a 6 lug 1969 truck 12 bolt? I have had a problem with axle length in the past. Thanks for your time, Steve  :?

I did a search and found nothing. Sooooo, my friend and I are going to convert my 69 chevy truck to 5 lug. We are going to take a 82 crossmember assembly and put it in the front, but I am concerned about the rear. Long ago I tried to change out my worn axles, bought a used 12 and found that the axles were just a little to short. Installed some cheater bearings and kept on drivin. Now with this change coming on my friend says that the 82 axles will fit. If they don,t we will have to bootleg the trailing arm mounts and fab a panhard bolt for the 82. Just what am I goin get into here. Thanks for your time, Steve    :?:
