started to rehang the electric fan. i used those plastic things that went thru the radiator, and didn't like to have the fan pulling on the fins. so i''m making a metal bracket.

had company all day. but yesterday i figured out how to adjust the valves in my engine (flathead) and put it back together. ran much better wife & i celebrated w/crunchy munchy peanut butter @ the local ice cream shop. 2 goods, car & ice cream.

working on the top wood and over the doors kept breaking band saw blade. 1st time it was my fault other 2x weld broke. try to find a new one today.

can anyone tell me how to take a 60's gm steering column apart? i need to shorten the inner tube 4". i'm putting it in a 29 a coupe.

2 questions
#1 i'm mocking up my '29 a s. coupe. right now its sitting on 14" rims. i'm about ready to have a drive shaft shortened to go from my 9" ford diff to a chev 350 auto. i have a set of 16" wires that would look better than the present rims. can i change to the 16" wires after the drive shaft?
#2 i need to shorten a gm steering column. does the column have to be completely disassembled to shorten the inner shaft?
