I have a question. I am looking for some threaded weld inserts. The only place I have seen them used, (and I hate to use this), is on American Chopper, the Teutel's T.V. show. They look like round bar stock that has been drilled and tapped. Yes, I realize that I could do this, but I was hoping for a Supplier that has them pre-made, as I will need a bunch of them.

I also realize that I could go to a Machine Shop, but I think that would be prohibitively expensive. I have seen something kinda close through Race Car shops, but not exactly what I am looking for.

Have I made this understandable, and does anyone know of a source?

I live in Utah, but work in western Colorado. Would love to stop by-I have done business with Heinzman Street Rods in Phillips (great guys by the way).

Know what you mean about water leaks (worry about getting the hinged windshield to seal). Makes me sad, but I am ommiting the cowl vent  :cry: for a/c . Just bought a rear window regulator off of Ebay (man, those things are goin' high!).

Tell me, is your car all steel? I am getting ready for Fenders and such, and my search is now in the direction of Fiberglass, as I cannot find any good front Fenders. I am trying to find Rodders that have had experience with Fairlane, Wescotts' and J.B. Donaldson Fiberglass stuff.
