i forget what company it is but there is a brake company that sells a caliper braket for 125 and this includes a list of what bearings and rotors u can use. i think they use alot of gm g-body parts with that swap. but on my car i have stock brakes and had no problem with the bearings and i have cruise 65 for a little more then a hour and have not had any problems from them. i would think if u just have the jam nut adjusted proberly and well greesed it should not be an issue. maybe think about putting new repo bearings in. u can get those from Kanter. if and when i got to do this i think thats the route im going to take.  ill see if i can find out the company that sells those kits. but i do belive there may be a sleeve involved.

few questions regarding this. are u going to be upgrading your stock master cylinder?  And other then the trimming of the backing plate is this a direct bolt in swap? Ive never heard of using these parts for this. and i would love to do so on my 50 chevy. keep us up dated on the progress for sure!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. (unfortunatel    and to think i spell checked that crazy looking word and thats what aol came up with) o well you will just have to exuse my poor spelling and what not. i like cars not english class :)
im digging all these crazy little smiley jobs. i havent done much with the grill as of yet. im still waiting and hoping to get a new welder for x-mas.(traded my old one for the chevelle doh!)

so far this week i have been working on mocking up mounts and trying to get this big caddy 390 to fit in my chevy. The orig plan was for a sbc but i got this motor for free last sunday and planned on using it in a model A project i have in mind. But it was in the garage and i just had to see if it would fit.And * right it does. exhuast manifolds even exit in happy places  :D

here are a few more pics of where im going with it. 52 F1 grill 57 chevy front bumper sectioned and chopped all to hell to fit right.(keep in mind this is a ruff mock up picture) and on the rear i have a photo shop done by mike from flordia (4t64rd) i want to use 56 cadillac dagmars with the flame throwing exhuast exiting under them. the orig idea was for a nice slim taillight (50 ford?) but im now wanting to install some pointy fin/qtr panel extensions. with 58 chevy tail lights mounted verticly (sp)

dont know if ill get to far into the rear areas of the car this winter. well see how well the rest comes together.

any way sorry for being so long winded. heres some pics for ya..
