Title: Gas Milage ?
Post by: Learpilot on March 30, 2009, 10:37:04 AM
Now that spring is here and we start going to some car shows. What would give better gas milage cold air or hot air to the carb or EFI ?

THANKS

In theory, cold air is better, being more dense, because there is more oxygen available to burn as much fuel as possible.

Of course once it's inside the engine, hotter is better because it atomizes the fuel better for more complete combustion
