Title: Mustang II Tubular A=Arms Shocks
Post by: Learpilot on January 30, 2009, 09:54:28 AM
I just bought a set of Tubular lower A-Arms at a swap meet. The guy I bought them from does not know which shock to use. They use a different shock that the Mustang II. It has two bolts at the bottom of the shock rather than the long bolt. Any idea what these shocks are from ?
Thanks !!!

How far apart are the holes? do you have an idea of shock length?

Monroe has mounting details in a chart on their site.

I found the guys number that I got the A-Arms from and he found the instructions which say to use early 67 to 69 Camaro front shocks.
Thanks

This is wrong you need shocks from a 74 Vega. I got them the next day from Auto parts store.  The Camaro shocks are 2" too long.
