Title: Automatic trans cooler line question
Post by: junkyardjeff on December 11, 2008, 09:41:06 PM
I have a mid 70s ford C-6 that I need to know which line is the one the fluid comes out of,I am in the process of putting the front sheetmetal back on and would like to add a auxillary cooler before the grille goes in and I cant start it yet so I want to have everything hooked up right before it gets fired up.  Jeff

I want the fluid to go through the cooler in the radiator first then go through the aux cooler.  Jeff

easy,

return line is the rear fitting.

Pressure fitting is the front one near the pump.

I was going to guess the front line since its close to the pump but you never know.  Jeff
