getting ready to order Vintage a/c--Genll super cooler. going to put it in a 47 Chevy convertible with a * dash. Seems like the dash is a little closer to firewall than stock dash. anyone done this type install--if so--any problems to be encountered. Thanks.
Never done one. but I have a stock 48 here that I can measure if you need it. I know the * dash is flatter, but it may be about the same at the bottom flange of the dash, which is where it matters.
That would be great. Measured the * dash and there is approx. 12 inches at the bottom
Thought about putting a stock dash back in it, but wife likes this one
I have a * dash in the 41 with a Super Cooler. It's not Gen II but one from the mid 90's didn't have any fitment problem getting it behind there
