You have my sympathies. The coldest I've seen is -27 F. I don't do well in the cold. I like summer, girls in bikinis, cold drinks, etc. You get the idea.

I spent my grade school years in and around Cut Bank, Montana.  We walked to school in -50F temps (uphill both ways - thought I would add that before some smart * felt the calling). That is indeed colder than heck!

I think it's the "up hill both ways part" Vance....Maybe he went to school but didn't catch on   :?:  See the school was on a hill but Charlie aways went the "round about way" to get there & back  :?:

That is too cold for a southern man. It was 70 degrees here today and I rode my Harley some this afternoon. South Carolina has some advantages but the summers get pretty HOT and Humid.

Charlie ,the story as my father told it was 6 miles ,barefoot&uphill both ways. When I finally saw the homestead he grew up on I could nearly chuck a rock and hit the schoolhouse from their farmyard!

I saw quite a few -40 F. degree days when I lived in Wyo., but never any -50's.  Boy did I hate to milk the cow in that weather.  It was a bit warmer in the barn, but probably only 5 to 10 degrees warmer.  I could never tell much difference in temps below -20.  Seems like you froze at the same rate.

Been in the single digits here a couple times this winter and that is cold enough for me now,

The wind was blowing with 50mph gusts all night and one of my ham radio towers is on the bedroom side of the house.. Didnt get much sleep  :!: The thing was really rocking last night.
its a wind chill of -13 this morning here.. At least we didnt get the 1-3 inches of snow they predicted just a dusting so far.. Jerry from ezboy told me they would pick up the seat cover today so its on the porch with a cement dog on top of it to keep it from blowing away..

We had the warm temps yesterday (high 40's) woke up at 5 this morning to no power and the temp at 0. We were lucky though the power came back on about 20 min after getting up. Still blowing like crazy but the temp is all the way up to 3 now

I think we should blame that Mexican b------d mate...ElNinio. He has now caused flooding around where I live. Yesterday the river broke its banks and traffic was chaotic. Haven't seen that much rain since about 1989. The last 3 weeks I was planning on going on a few runs..alas, the 37 sits waiting. Hoping next Sunday it will be fine, but the forcatst reckons rain..AGAIN!!! :x

Better roadster weather down here Pep,my dogs and cats get scared ,because it rains so little, they are not used to it when it does. What sticks in my craw is that I cannot get to drive the Buick convertible yet,and when  I get the opportunity to get it driveable, the drought will break..........Frank

Hit 70 today.  Very unusual for this time of year.  Well above dew point and very humid.  Water was puddling up on concrete all over town.  And this evening we have tornado warnings, 60 mph winds, and rain. I'd rather be cold.

I worked hard all my life to retire to a house on a dirt road down by the railroad tracks in an area with an active earhquake fault, tornados, ice storms, and sweltering hot summers. No place is perfect.  But sometimes I ask myself "What the #$%& am I doing here?"

Well tomorrow is supposed to be -3Celsius or about 28 fahrenheit , with a pretty good wind whipping up the snow. Found a 73 Comet (maverick)at the wrecker on the weekend, tomorrow will be good enough weather to get the 8" diff out of it.

78 degrees yesterday ... Sunshine and beautiful. About the same forecast today. Rode the Harley about 100 miles yesterday, just riding and playing. Out seeing and being seen. Saw lots of bikes out. Rode past  by a local favorite " watering hole for the Harley crowd " and it looked like a Saturday afternoon with all the bikes there.

Came home in the afternoon, got the 32 roadster out and took the wife out to eat supper @ the new Mexican restaurant . Left there and cruised up around the lake and visited some friends. Got home at almost midnight and the temperature was 65 degrees  :)

Real nice now ... but in the late summer ... it does get pretty hot and humid ...

Yes, it has been cold here too, but it has only rained twice this past week, once for 3 days and the second time for 4 days (?).   Now ice and that white stuff that turns a dark color after a day or two.   You know, that stuff you have to shovel out of the driveway.     As all of this is going on, my furture X wife is living in our winter home in Arizona (?)  ......only in America......     You know what they called it when they found a couple Lawyers had falled through the ice and drowned in Lake Erie..........a pretty good start !!!!!.........

Where I work we have gotten about 14" so far today-it was 5 degrees when I got into my Pickup to come to work this morning.

I haven't seen this much snow here since the 80's (western Colorado Mountains)-there's 4 foot of standing snow on the level-it's nuts.

I had a Customer call me today and they are spending $4000 a DAY in snow removal (they've got a D8, a Cat 140G Blade, and Skid Steers cleaning it up)-AND we're supposed to get another 4-6" tonight-I almost got stuck in my 4 X 4 this morning-

No snow  here, but an inch of rain today, and an inch and a half yesterday, on all the snow  that melted the first day makes for some high water. The sump pump is running full out. the water is running out of the fields, and across my driveway.

I know the feeling. We're having a cold front move through this evening. I had to take off the tank top and put on a sleeveless T shirt. The chill was horrendous...The girls at the beach had to switch to 1 piece suits due to the temperature drop...
