what I'm having problems with is that I had to remove the centre section of the x-member for trans clearance and now I'm wondering what the best way to proceed on
1-how to tie the x-member back together properly
2-how to build a drop out cross member for the trans mount, if you look at the picture closely you can see the pad for the trans mount on th trans housing but I need to build a mount on the frame somehow that is strong and also removable
Thanks
Jeff
Why not cut the X closer to the outer rail and run a piece parallel to the outer rail and tie it together with a hoop? For the trans mount come off the uprights you already have.
im with u jack it sure looks strong enuff..
