Sure does.
I think you could use most any 5 prong black box relay. I buy them and the pig tail from Haywire for $5. If no one else has a part number, I will get you the number tomorrow when I go back to the shop. I am to lazy to go back out there tonight.

pin 30 to fused power 20amp fuse should do.
pin 87 to horn
pin 86 from ign power or to same wire as pin 30
pin 85 to the wire from the steering column.
with the relay pin 86 having power from the switched ign the horn goes off with the key. with pin 86 having power direct from pin 30 the horn will be horney all the time..

problem is the ol Dodge and Falcon do not really have extra hot wires or fuses available. Will need to add a few .
IF the dodge lancer has a fuse box , I've not found it.
The 62 Falcon sedan has 2 or 3 fuses on the head light switch .

The relays at HAywire web site are much higher than 5 bucks each.
I will order a few relays from waytek and a few other items I need.
At a swap meet this past weekend , I walked past a few guys selling this stuff.... did I think of it then?? nope

you can use 18 or 20 guage fuseable link . be sure it is soft covered insulation. i have gotten them premade that are made with teflon jacketed hi temp wire.. definitly not a low temp fuse.
early 90's cads have tons of various sized fusable links on terminal block under the hood just ready for grabbbing. red for the power / black for the ground...both under the hood...
i have been going into this store for over 30 years my brother for 40 years... they mostly do mail order...but do have a retail store out in van nuys ca.

a while back I found the bosch relays on e-bay for that same price and bought 20 of them with pigtails. Handy to have around.

They always have a box of the relays with sockets/pigtails for $5 at the shows, but I couldn't find that price on their web site either.
I get them at the junkyard, they are in most GM cars for the last 25 years. I have yet to find one that won't work. Also Volvo, and Freightliner trucks.
I just bought 10 off ebay. I will need 3 for the 32 and if I'm lucky, I'll still be able to find the rest the next time I need one. :lol:

I did the obvious! I purchased from the Auto Zone a little 6 fuse block that screwed to my inner fender and I ran a wire right from my alternator to it. Next, anything needing power has a fuse (ATO) and that it will be for anything you need! Electric Fan, Headlights, Horn, anything! Cost about $10.00.

What's with all the relays??? I understand their use, a small signal through a tiny wire can unleash a lot of amps, but in many cases you can just run a wire from the fuse box. Yes the factory can save size and a little weight and $ but hotrodders could just run the wire. For instance my old truck has wires from the fuse box to the elect fuel pump, a/c compressor, both elect fans, the blower motor and all the lights. Has been working for 24 yrs and many miles. In my mind it is a lot of extra wiring and you still need a fuse?????

cars that use fan switches that directly turn on colling fans generaly have to have the switch replaced more often..
horns at least for american cars need a relay as the switch in the wheel grounds when the contacts close... this closes the realy and sends power down one wire to a horn. the horn is grounded through the case and mount.. this saves wires ... and keeps voltage out of the steering column ...older german cars use a ground circut also .. think vw bugs and busses.. but they have a 2 contact horn .. wone side with power the other up the steering column shaft usually with the horn switch to close that circut..
solenoid type starters may take up to 50 amps to pull the plunger in to move the contact disc across the contacts...
if you have ever had a gm car that was hard to start hot... and then you have installed a relay or starter solenoid you wont believe the differnce...
it also lets the ignition get more power as there is less draw though the ign switch circut...
and the best reason to install a relay ... voltage drop....
if you want brighter headlight install a relay... guess what guys..
new cars have a system called.. C.A.N...
controller area network.. this uses just a few wires to send power and ground to differnt accessorys and lights... the computer sends digtial signals down a pair of wires to turn on differnt modules...
so if you tail lights dont work.. it might not be just a burned out lamp...
it will take a new scan tool to figure it out...
be sure to get one with CAN.... and the 2008 systems and i have hurd are differnt from that...
