Now that I have a new paint job. Should I put some kind of insulation on the under side of the hood to protect the paint ? If so ,what do you guys use ?
The paint is from PPG.
Thanks in advance for all your great knowledge !

Ive never done that.. no problems..

If you are concerned about heat, don't be. The heat from the engine bay is not going to damage the paint.
Unless the exhaust is really close to the hood, 1/4" or less, heat is not usually a problem
If you don't use insulation some heat will dissapate thru the hood and the engine compartment will be a little cooler....not much but every little bit helps sometimes.
