I was heading up the New England highway the other day and this store caught my eye. It is in a small town called Murrurundi (I kid you not).
I don't get the significance. I guess I am dense today.
Is the store owner's name Tom ?
Glad you guys didn't figure it out yet either. I thought I was being dense.
Don
All right Pope, I gotta hear the long version. I'm Aussie-impaired.
And is there a New England in Australia? I guess it's coming up on springtime where you are.

I think the joke is in the copy. The line under Dooley's Store reads as follows, "Murrurundi Friendly Grocer & Liquor".
Then again, I've got a sick mind.....................Frank
PS: Normspeed, I think Popes referring to the New England highway, not a place called New England.
Maybe because the name is similar to HOOLEY???
Don
seems like there is a song with Tom Dooley in it.
There is a woman down the street with the first name Dooley, but I don't think Neil knows her
hang down your head Tom Dooley poor boy you're bound to die
Got a friend with a Ford dooley that only gets 8 mpg. He says he doesn't know what a Murrurundi is tho
All your comments are Dooley noted.
