I ran across an 'ole boy today who has two wishbone front suspensions.
both have the axle, springs, spindles, one even has the brake drums.
don't know what they came off of, didn't get a chance to ask him.
but he'd part with them for $50.00 each.
he also has a complete 59 A-B flathead motor.
if anybody is interested, let me know.

I'd like the flathead, but getting it from there to here would be a problem... :(
$50 is a good price if they are not all rusted up. Freed from the axle solid wishbones can fetch $75-$100. Good roundback spindles (37-41) bring $125 and squareback spindles a tad less on eBay. Earlier spindles are hard to sell. A pair of serviceable 37-48 hubs are worth $75+. I have sold a couple of stripped serviceable 37-48 axles for $50. Earlier axles are actually more desireable. Springs are usually junk and in any case, no one seems to want them. Depending on what he has got and condition you could double or tripple your money with a little disassembly and some postings on eBay, the HAMB, and the Ford Barn.

It sure would be worth a follow up as to what they came off from. If they are clean and free (bones and spindles) and are for specially the round backs if youve got a place to put em id sure grab em up.

I'll go back by his place this weekend and ask more questions.
I should have more time to chat with him. I ran across them, literally, by accident. was making a call next door to his house when I saw his 38 Chevy sitting in the driveway. luckily the patient was a "no ride" so I did get a little time to talk with him.

Well little buddy if its ford stuff you really should pick it up. or maybe if it looks good and you dont want it i could send you some cash and you could pick it up for me. The only problem I see is shipping to here but if we did it kinda like Johnny Cash it wouldnt be such a big bill all at one time.
