David is still in critical care. He is awake alert and breathing on his own. Sue showed him the calander and the 9 days he missed yesterday. They are going to try solid food soon. Looking better every day.

Under the circumstances, that's real good news Don.  It sounds like every day is looking a little better for Dave.  We're all pulling for his recovery.

Having been out of touch for a while this came as a bit of a shock. It sounds as though he's progressing as well as can be expected. Send him our best and let him know we're all pulling for him.

Holy crap!!! I need to ck in more often  :roll:  had a lot going on the last few months haven't been here in almost two.
what a shock this was!!!!!!  I hope he continues to improve.  I keep cking for udates. He will be  in our prayers!!!!
