I thought I would show what happens when 1800 hp breaks a power glide trans in a monster truck.
The trans is a Dedenbear case, these cases have an inner steel liner insert to contain an explosion.
High clutch drum failed and destroyed the complete tranny. Tranny case is broken in many places , yet all flying parts were contained.

Keep in mind that this a completely new parts powerglide. Very little is OEM parts
Some trucks run Gear vendor over drive units on the glides for the longer race courses
Does that case carry a warrantee?
Gotta love them 'Glides :!: :!:
