Aisle 7 was given this body a few days ago and would like to know who made it and its applications. TIA, he says.

Im thinking kelmark gt or sumpin like that. I had one quite a few years ago that was built i9n ann arbor michigan but mine had a removeable top and opening trunk. I got it from a buddy blew the vw motor rebuilt one painted it hemi orange with a flat black top and sold it. Oh ya it had pop up headlights too

Looks like you've got an Aztec body (which is much better looking than the Pontiac Asstek of today). Do a google search on VW Aztec body.

There were also Bradley GT's, but, again, they weren't as good looking as the body you're showing.
Kind of looks like an avenger GT body to me. I remember seeing several of those around in the early 70's. I almost bought on once with the corvair engine in it.
Sedanman... :)

As it turns out, it's a Kellison Astra GT.
There's not a lot of commercial value in it, and I'm working on Aisle 7 to think about using it for a /GMS (Gas Modified Sports) for Bonneville -- simple tube frame, live-axle suspension, 1800cc BMW OHC four-banger (I have a complete low-miles car I've offered). The current record was set in '87 at 157 mph. This one would not necessarily be a record setter right away, but it could be fun for Mac and a very affordable way to go salt racing.
Thanks for your guesses.
