Title: Trying to ID this 2 speed wiper motor
Post by: Crosley.In.AZ on May 09, 2025, 08:23:58 AM
See the photo..  Closest I have come is a early Ford wiper motor.  I have looking on Rock Auto at various applications .. Ford in mid - late 1960s seem close.

Trying to ID this motor.  I want to build some holiday yard displays that are animated with some movement. 12 volt. You can buy a power supply with variable speed control.

I see this motor used in a few items videos I watching.  Nobody mentions the application. When I have time I am still watching videos , so maybe the info will pop up?

I look on Amazon at low speed motor that are gear reduction.  Too many reviews mention gear failure of the plastic gears in the gear box.  This wiper motor seems more durable?

I have looked at Halloween prop websites.  They sell a version for 35 dollars plus shipping.  I may go that route ?

I looked around some AMC boards and other places.  Saw a few photos of wiper motors that look similar. Also with the word Autolite stamped into the motor case.

thanks.
