Title: 1939 Chevy trans fitment
Post by: trackster on June 17, 2022, 09:55:45 AM
Anyone running a 4L60E in a 1939 Chevy?  I think they are the same size as a 700R4, not sure.  Wondering if the stock trans tunnel will clear the trans or if I need a larger tunnel.  Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Good info.  I don't have any trans in the car currently.  Just wondering if the original trans tunnel would clear the 4L60E/700R4 trans.

I'm not an expert but from everything I have read, the cases are almost identical.
