I paid $2.00 a gallon this morning. Regular grade gasoline.

Diesel is in the mid to upper 2.30's  a gallon

I filled up my van yesterday at Kroger for $1.56 a gallon with my fuel points. 31 gallons, I saved $21.70

Our state gas tax was increased by 7.3 cents a gal today, of course the price at the pumps went up 35 cents a gal. $2.59 at most satiions today, but the one closest to me was still at  yesterday's price, $2.24, so guess where I filled up even though I didn't really have to.

Prices have crept up in recent week. 4 cent increase so far.  I expect more soon.

This weekend, Costco was $.25 cheaper than the others, at $2.25 compared to $2.50. Geez...

$2.23 here, went up .08 about a week and a half ago.  Costco is .04 less as usual.

$2.49 at Chevron in NW Las Vegas on Wed. morning, $3.99 at Chevron in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Wed. afternoon.  Mrs. Rr said she paid $1.89 with discounts on Sat. morning in NW LV, and $3.45 in Baker, CA later that day.

Michigan got a big tax increase the first of the year and OPEC reduced production, Went from $2.09 to about $2.49 here!!!

I dont know what to say.  Stunned.  Prices at stations I visit.  Dropped.

Down to 2.00 a gallon again from 2.06

Stations I drive by usually... back up.  2.09 a gallon now.  I figure more soon.

AZ had a new law come into effect for minimum wage.  From 10 days ago, the Breakfast Jack & fries I bought from Jack in the Box.  Went up 32 cents.  I think many items will go up too.

Goofy dangest thing.  Same gasoline station that was 2.09 thursday , is down to 2.06 this morning.

MI gas went to $2.59 on Jan 1 and is now back to 2.26 or so. About where it was at year end without the new tax increase. I managed to avoid the increase by waiting. I made a road trip to eastern Iowaon Friday the 6th and the price in Indiana and Illannoy was around 2.25-2.27.

Regular gasoline is down about 10 cents again. It had jumped to 2.15 - 2.18 in some places.  Back down to 2.05 ... I have not seen prices jumping like this in years out here

I bought gas tuesday at 2.00 a gallon in Phx station I drive past a few times a week
