Some torque steer when on heavy throttle. If  front  tires lost traction, then the car followed the slope of the road.

I had a line-loc on rear tires. I could drag the rear tires forward and people would freak out.  Car moving, rear tires locked up.  Funny stuff

Yes.  Couple small articles on the car.  I was told at the time, white cars dont photograph well for magazines. Since the Chevelle was unique , it was used for articles

Last seen in Virginia , late summer 2014.  Still runs.  Looks near the same in recent years.

It was sold thru an auction.  A company was being liquidated , a few collector type cars was in the auction with other equipment .

Flash Back Friday:

1969 Camaro Pro Street car when that thing was popular.  Wife and I built this car.

BBChevy, 6-71 blower w 15 - 18 psi boost.  Mid 10's at 130 mph... back in mid 1980's.

Chrome suspension front n rear.  Narrowed 9 inch , 12 point cage, yada yada

Another proof that I used to finish projects

Everyone that I know has slowed up with age. Not everyone has a mag cover car. Congratulations on that fact. :)

A guy I know here copied the paint off of that onto a 69 Camaro.  I always wondered where he got the scheme since he usually tries to copy someone else.

I get a kick out of the feature headline "get 403 HP 350 ! " . Back then it was an accomplishment , now its barely a start.
