The color is Viper Blue.

Cool!
Sweet!
For a minute there I thought it was white, with gold tyres.
Gorgeous
Great job Bob.
I believe that is the car you were driving when I met you many years ago.
John
Looks GOOD !! I LIKE IT 8)
Bob ...
Bob,
Looks ready to rock and roll.
Sweet looking ride Bob...
Looks fantastic, Bob. Blue is my favorite color anyway, and I think there should be more blue cars...but you picked a good shade.
Not that it looked bad before, but do I like the new look much better.
Only one question Uncle Bob, is the passenger seat mounted lower, so you can take regular sized people for a ride? :D
Very nice Bob. Boy it'll sure have a break-in cruise going to Detroit in this weather
Awesome! I love the color!!
Love it!!! Hope you enjoy years of piling on the miles.
That Chebby is Da Bomb...and the shop makes a great backdrop.
Love it
Can we see the interior? Maybe the engine bay, too?
Bob,
is that what you're bringing to Detroit??? It really looks great

Not bringing Rochie, Driving, I stopped for an overnight in Mokena Il.

Peter yes but this one is chopped 4 inches so all of my vertically challenged friends must recline the power recliner passenger seat. Normal sized folks can see just fine with the seat in an upright position.

OK, so you only changed the outside huh?
Last time I rode in it I had to lay the seat horizontal, so all I could see was the roof lining.
Really nice car, kind of a combination of styles that work well. Is that. '46 grille? Does the front clip tilt? I was looking to see how the hood fit ti the fenders, my '46 is terrible, and I see no line from hood to fender.
Very nice! Bob
Man, it certainly has changed since when you used it for ice fishing, you crazy Wisconsin guy. );b(

The chrome you put back on really adds to it.
That's really sweet Bob.. look for it in Des Monies
See you at Cobo Bob. Along with Shelby and her baby.

That is kinda funny, the reason it has a tilt front end is because I couldn't get the fenders and the hood to line up right, this solved the problem.

Looking forward to it Frank, can't wait to see Shelby and the little one.

Yeah they don't line real good stock, so I complicated things and pie cut the hood on mine....really didn't help the fit. :D
A few pics from leaving my house in a snowstorm and finally set up in the basement of Cobo center.
In my driveway, it's snowing.

So Bob, when you backed the car out of the garage, and took the picture of the car in the snow, why did you not turn around and take a picture of the garage door for me? What were you thinking? Oh, maybe something like, "How and I going to get this car to Detroit in this mess". I bet I will get my door picture someday soon.
I hope you are having fun this weekend. I imagine you are. That show is on our list.
John
Shelby, Brett and I stopped by and saw Bob today. The color looks just as good in person.
John, what is the story on Bob's door?
Bob, the car looks great!

John, here is the picture, I hope.
And yes I did forget.

Thanx for that picture George, I'll get my shrink to send his bills to you, I'm gunna be having nightmares for at least the next ten years after that.
Thanks Bob, I did not expect you to take time out of your weekend. I was just teasing you a little. Thanks a bunch. I have always admired that door and I wanted to save a picture of it. I may even have one printed and frame it for the shop.
I hope you are having a lot of fun.

Have you ever heard of Bob NOT having fun?
Nice job Bob and the exit of the Caddy tail lights, being replaced with those 58 Delray's, make a nice switch.
Maybe 53 Pontiac station wagons might have offered still another view. What do you think?
Frank
Bob,
It was my sincere pleasure meeting you in Detroit. I am so very happy that my buddy John won "Best Traditional Hot Rod" in the basement. I know he will be in tears he couldn't be there.
Bob,
So how was the trip back home?
It was nice talking to you in Detroit.............and by the way, the car looks great!
Mike
The '58 Chevy tail lights look pretty nice on your car. My '47 Ford coupe had those when I bought it and, on that car, they didn't look so nice. Good proportions and overall look. You did good.
Tom
Very nice job.
Car looks awesome! Got a decision to make every time you open the garage door now! By the way......Any extra rooms for The 50's???
