Makes a lot of our own accomplishments seem pretty trivial doesn't it? );b( );b( );b( );b( );b(
Good story, Frank. He looks really good for 91!
I would be proud, too. My father participated in D-Day as well.
You should be proud. I thank him for what he did for all of us.

What a Dad, and such an epic battle tale! My personal thanks to all those who helped turn the tide. I sincerely hope future generations will continue to reflect and study on the unimaginable duties and accomplishments of those who came before them.
Just a * good story of what our troops went through. We are all proud of him.
What everyone else said. We all owe a debt of gratitude to Frank and the others who recreated that story up and down all over the beaches...and in the Pacific.
Now I understand where your good character comes from. You can be very proud of your father.
I am sure he does, Frank, I am glad to know you still have him around. He's a real hero, from a different time.
Great Article! My Dad also served, was seriously wounded and consequently disabled protecting our freedoms. Fellows like your Dad truly are the "Greatest Generation"!The sacrifices they made are hard to imagine.....Glad he is still enjoying life and here's wishing both your folks many more!
