Title: Knock, knock....Crosley, you in there?
Post by: Stevie G on September 01, 2004, 01:38:33 PM
Are all TV cables the same?
I have a 200-R4 behind a 350 SBC with a carburetor.
As usual the project took a while and the TV cable is now missing.
Just wondering which cable to buy.
Thanks again,
Stevie G

the TV cable for a 700 & 200-4r trannys are the same configuration at each end.  The tranny end is larger than the t-350 style cable.

Do not buy one of those universal cables that fit a t-350 , but have an adapter rubber sleeve to fit the 700/200 trannys.......they leak

There are different lengths of cables, some were slightly different at the carb end when a carb or EFI unt is used in an OEM application.

Install the sealing sleeve into the tranny case first ,,,,, then the cable or filler tube
