Well we had a busy weekend just gone. A bunch of us got together and built a hotrod over the weekend.
Ben had mocked up a chassis earlier to give us a starting point.
Sat about 30 or 40 blokes some rodders and some not turned up for breakfast and from that time on we all got stuck into it.
6.10 sunday evening he fired it up and drove it out of the shop to the applause of everyone that was there.
It was a great weekend way better than could have been anticipated.
I let the pix do the taliking.

The assembled chassis

In my opinion doing body work is the worst possible job one can do.
Those guys put in a huge effort to have it ready for paint in one day.

Saturday night we had a band playing.
Hats off o Richie the bassist as he spent the whole day welding the chassis up.

The seat was trimmed during the day from a bafe frame.

The interior with lines laid down earlier.

Introducing the T to the world.

And Ben "flathead" himself in the wee hours of sunday morning.
The things you do when you're drunk to much.
Ben's club the Cranksters organised the build but some of my club members from the Goodfellas reminded him we were there to.
More photos later.

We have the steering wheel on that side,so it is easier to shake hands and strike up a friendship with a motorist from the other direction when you stationary in a traffic jam             ...    Frank.
