Question on machinist term

Looking in Enco catalog...

Horizontal - Vertical Rotary table.

One spec listed is gear ratio 90:1 ... accuracy within 40 seconds

40 seconds of what? is my question

my guess is that it's less that 1 degree,less that 1 minute kinda thing.
as in really accurate BUT i have no idea what "really" accurate means as it's knida relative...

Tony, I have a very nice rotary table if you need to use it. It is already mounted to the Mill, I was using it today for these blocks.
