Brake Booster tool

Here it is folks. Someone may make one, but I haven't found one yet.  Basically what it is, an H made of 1/2" aluminum, about 4" high, and three inches wide, with a 5/16" by 18 hole threaded in the middle. And a piece of 5/16" all thread rod, 1/16" longer than the height of the H. So if the H is 4" high, the rod will be 4 1/16" long. one end of the rod should be rounded off to work right.

Yup, that's what a vac booster tool looks like alright, a little rougher than ours, but a good effort nevertheless.

We've got lots of 'em on our special tools rack.

You should be able to buy one from Lisle Tools or somebody like that.

Some manufacturers actually offer a service or overhaul kit.  Check with your local brak parts specialist or even a franchised dealer for the vehicle your booster was lifted from.
