Can't see any lurkers, just a bunch of old farts. "

Guilty as charged on both counts, I should fit in well here.. :P  I've been hanging around for awhile but am usually too lazy to sign in.
I'm from the Detroit area and have been around cars all my life, mostly interested in old race cars & nostalgia racing now ... but if it has four wheels I'll still look at it, never too old to learn a new trick.

Quote from: "river1"has anyone ever anodized an aluminum radiator?

later jim

I have a friend that anodized his on a car with an open engine bay, the anodizing exposed to direct sunlight faded/weathered  much like an exposed AN fitting does after a couple of years..

Here's something that may be of interest to those of you who run early cars with early taillights.

Thanks, great info.... I run a set of extremely small tail lights,  I've been through the melted lens and LED bulbs and finally turned the bezels on the lath to accept some swapmeet glass lens, looks like it's time to figure out how to vent them.

Rodder's Roundtable / New bodies
May 16, 2007, 08:37:51 PM
the inability to come to an assembly deal with ASC like they did with the roadster (since changed) and it was just one big downward spiral.
The coupe was poorly designed from an assembly standpoint and ASC refused to have their name associated with it due to lack of quality, the roadster was an ASC design that HR & HP purchased the rights. I believe ASC produced 300 bodies plus 10 'pre-production' units that were built.

As far as the Experimetal Chevy roadsters, when they 'cleared house' a friend of mine bought their last complete body at half-price .... somehow I doubt that they scrapped any..JMO
