It looks enough like a car to show it..RRT is what delivered me to everywhere else I go on the net... too bad they don't show the old join dates, it would show that I've been here since at least '02.

Here is my car, not yet running, at Billetproof FL. and in my barn... should be running here in the next few weeks.

That's ACE hardware Navy blue spraybomb, in case you are wondering who did the paint... I don't think I even had time to wipe the dirt in some spots.

Getting closer, tires should be here Friday, and a few little things are also on their way... a gauge, some sending units, some  firewall grommets, hood hinge bolts and a 24"x54" sheet of mother of pearl drum wrap...

The rivi console inserts and Corvair dash inserts and door trim will the drum wrap, should be nice with the black T-bird seats. I'm thinking that I'm changing my mind on the paint again... how about a nice lt. blue metallic for contrast to the interior?

Got a list of 1/2 hour projects to get done this week(end) and then hopefully, a twist of the key lot's of noise from those headers...

I've got a standing appointment with a buddy for an exhaust system, which is going to be just a little "different" than the off the shelf stuff.

Once this car is stone cold reliable, the body will get sent down to be media blasted (everywhere but the underside) and then I will do the bodywork and then (I will sew) the final interior once it's painted.

Moved under it's own power for the first time in 12 years that I know of, probably closer to 35 years judging by the hugger orange dashboard it used to have.

I work kinda slow, but I don't give up.

Drove it home last night... Still need some brake tweaking, latches, window regulators, and lots of bodywork, but it tracks straight, goes pretty good (350/TH350/8" 3:08), all the gauges work, most of the lights work, and the T-bird seats are comfy.

It's filthy from a year of grinding and sanding in a barn, but I can stop saying "I am building a car", and start saying "I built a car."

I like the way it sets. One of the first hor rods I remember is a 48 Ford two door, black, with flames, and the same stance.

Interesting that you say that... Since this is just a spray bomb paint job, I was thinking I would experiment with some silver seaweed flames with candy red tips, lined in white... See how it looks... see if I want ti for the final paint job.

I really like your fat Fendered little Ford. Don't worry about the rattle can paint, best paint awards at car shows are won every year by cars painted with spray cans.

I have my own little 46, my paint was done in a booth and cost me a bundle. Your from your pic's looks just as good.
