Title: Keep your plug wires in order
Post by: 48ford on March 11, 2007, 01:45:42 PM
This is what i do ,you get 8 plastic ties that come on bun /bread bags and  a magic marker and lable them 1 to 8.
as you take the wires off the plug put the tag that is #1 on first cylinder and so on till they are all off then go ahead and pull the dizzy ,when you put it back together you won't be scratching your head and tracing wires back to the dizzy.
When you are finished put all the tags back on a nail till the next time.
Hope this helps some one

Somewhere, don't remember where, I came up with some rolls of tape with numbers on them, 1 through 0. I use this to number wires. I know you can get them from DelCity Wire.

I also went the magic marker route first but being a packrat I save non-descript stuff future use. The numbers that now identify them came from the subscription service attempt for a magazine called Nuts & Bolts. They also send a nice plastic drill gauge along with each attempt.
I think there is also numbers included on the insert sheet that comes along with the blank VHS tapes.
Yes, I still use my VCR, you're lucky it isn't a Beta........................Frank
