Hopefully it's o.k. to post here on the main page, I don't think I would get much action on the want ad pages. A friend is looking for a rear outer wheel house for a '62 Chevy Impala, two door. Apparently they are not repopped. If anything ne knows of a donor car it would be great.

Quote from: "enjenjo"There are two places I can think of, Owens salvage in Texas, and Desert Classics in Arizona.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Goodmark-GMK401067562L-Rear-Outer-Driver-Side-Wheelhouse-/311548925346?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

I'll have to check with my friend, he said he tried salvage yards out west and they are very expensive, he was hoping to find a privately owned donor car. I'll see if he has tried these places. The link you provided is for the Chevy II, I wonder if they would be able to be modified to fit. They repop '64 Impala, but they aren't even close.

Sorry about the bum link. 1961 and 1962 are virtually the same as the quarter panel has the same shape in that area.

Yeah, '61-'62 Impala would work, they apparently are like gold, funny that they're not repopped.

You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.
