Rodder's Roundtable / Got a new truck
April 01, 2015, 10:34:03 PM
Took it out for a drive, everything works as it should.
Washed off some of the red texas dirt, more to go.
It needs the bumper on the clutch pedal.
Going to swap out the twin I beams to get power steering and disc brakes, then just run it all summer

Back from Texas and found a nice 1965 ford f100 short box truck.
So we now have it back in Ohio, it runs, stops and the guy was driving it everyday when we got it.
352/ 4 speed first gear creeper.
This thing has no rust, but the paint is really dead

Rodder's Roundtable / brake pedal

On the ford I used one off a bronco ll or ranger, it mounted to the lip on the dash board and the firewall is flat. It worked out real nice.
The power booster is only around 8"
Any ford ,master will bolt to it,so you can get the bore size you need

Rodder's Roundtable / I found a Ute in west texas
March 25, 2014, 08:27:55 PM
We had to go to Texas ,
And when driving out to a casino in Hobbs N.M. we went past a 57 ford for sale, so we turn around and not only the 57 ford but he had a 46 ford ute sitting there. I could not get him to give me a price on it or it may be in northwest ohio now.
note the steering wheel on the wrong side by our standards
Here are the pics I took
Also that's a real hemi laying upside down in the dirt.
There still out there

Rodder's Roundtable / Vintage air
January 03, 2014, 11:01:54 AM
I have the dash apart in our ford as im putting in a powered cowl vent I built. Then painting, ect.
But now that it's apart im thinking of a vintage air/heat unit too.
Anyone use one.? What did you think of it?
Thanks Russ

Rodder's Roundtable / Re: T5 transmissions
December 12, 2013, 04:53:41 PM
Quote from: "enjenjo"I have gathered quite a variety in the last few weeks. I found two more out in the barn that are not pictured. Most of them a WC T5s, a couple NWC T5s, two NWC T4s, and a SR4. The SR4 is pretty much useless, but the bell housing will fit a Ford T5 to a Chevy engine. It's out of a Hornet.

Frank we were just talking about some one we both knew,
You never know anymore.

Not wanting to start anything, but the older I get the more I think Dr. Kevorkian was right.
