Do any of you still do this? I recently bought some reman calipers from Napa, Adaptive One brand for my '99 S10, would have preferred to rebuild the old ones but could not find a kit.. Am leary of reman parts. Price wasn't bad, just don't really trust them.

I have on all of my projects. I had a caliper on the rear irs on the gray 51 that I couldn't get to work. I bought a Cardone and it worked. I have no idea why I couldn't get the seal to work. Different brands of kits, same results. :)

I gave up on rebuilding wheel cylinders and calipers quite a while ago. For me, the minor difference in cost didn't offset the time. Not only that, but I found it too common for rebuilt parts to have shorter service lives than factory reman.
