Most of the stations around this area miraculously all jumped to $2.99 at the same time. One or two might be slightly lower or higher. I got to use my Kroger card yesterday and get it for $2.78...WOW!

Gas here jumped from 2.39 to 2.99 overnight.

we had a jump of .15/l went to 124.9/Litre

Breakdown in a BP refinery in northern Indiana causing a shortage, driving the price up...only problem with that is that there seems to be plenty of gas at $0.60 higher. In a real shortage one would expect to see "no gas today" signs in front of pumps. Hasn't happened. Oil is at its lowest in 6 years or such, and now they trot out the old broken refinery BS. What a crock.

$2.09 here in Orange, Texas, at most all pumps. A few cents higher on the interstate (IH-10).
