Bob has quit a project on his hands with this '37 Ford Fordor sedan, he wants to make it a Tudor. He says that he will soon be lengthening the doors, filling in the rear, removing posts, and so on. The top is chopped 3 inches in front and 1 1/2 inches in the rear. Power is from a 351 Cleveland and C-6 auto. The frame is fully boxed with Mustang II based front suspension on air ride and auto ride height control. The T-bird IRS had custom A arms and air ride. Bob says the chassis is complete except for the rear sway bar and a trailer hitch, and all work was done by him.

This is a '66 Cobra fiberglass kit body from Shell Valley. The frame was scratch built by owner. It rides on a Mustang II based front suspension and four-link rear with 9" Ford, 3.89 posi, and housing narrowed 10". The 427/425hp Ford features twin Holleys, the rest is stock except for cam and distributor. Transmission is a toploader close ratio 4-speed with Hurst shifter. The only kit parts used were the body, windshield, seats, headlights, and taillights, everything else was fabricated at home. Bob says the car has 20,000 miles on it with no problems other than fuel pump and carbs (he runs gasahol and a lot of octane booster).
