I've had this truck for a little over 5 years now. When I bought it, it was completely stock except for some cheesy rally wheels. First thing I did was paint the toolbox (since removed) black to match and get new wheels and tires. My previous truck had been lowered about 4/6, and I told myself I would only lower this one "an inch or two". I started with some mild high school quality customs such as slotted taillight covers and smoked headlight covers. Then a guy crunched my left rear corner and I go the fiberglass roll pan. It was about this time that I lowered it, 3 in the front and 4 in the rear. I kept on driving it and using it as my summer work truck. I added the cowl induction hood, grille, and the polished interior pieces. It got to the point where I had run out of the little things to do, and it was time to get serious.

Much do Dad's dismay I decided to use the money I had gotten for high school graduation to lower the truck more. The total drop came out to be 6 in the front and 8 in the rear. I drove around for almost a month with the bed off, man was that fun! I guess I am almost a rodder since I have been pulled over for 'no fenders'!

I went off to college but that hasn't stopped the customizing. I shaved the tailgate, bedrails, and all the trim and mouldings. Finally got it painted one summer. This summer I replaced all the A/C components and added bucket seats out of a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Been having a blast at The Rodder's Round Table since March of 1997, and I have greatly enjoyed putting together the Rides of RRT for all the people there.
