The car is a '27 roadster on a total performance model A chassis kicked 3" with only 1800lbs. and 400 horsepower its a lot of fun, the motor is a 350 sbc, 9.75:1, with fuelie heads, a gear driven comp 292 cam with 508 lift, and billet roller rockers. weiand intake and the carbs are 450's.

Transmission is a 350TH with a Hughes 3000rpm stall (man those are fun). Ron Davis made the radiator, its an aluminum 32 style with a 6" chop. Gold Coast lakes headers. 2.5" exhaust, with Flowmaster "race only" one chamber mufflers. DP 90 paint, with a Vargas pinup girl painted on each side by Jim Gardner in Phoenix, AZ. '32 grill shell with a 2.5" chop. Cool Coker slicks on the rear. This one was built in the garage and finished before I was 30!

I found this '48 buick in April of 2000 and at first thought I would just drive it "as is". Then I decided it would be more fun to pull it apart. The game plan is to make it a long distance runner since I have the roadster for local fun. The air ride is almost complete and now that it is down on the ground we are going to make a decision whether to chop it or not. Gloss black paint and seaweed metallic green flames are the game plan, smoothed a little but not too much. You can see more of it in detail at:
