Peter's ride is a '46 Chevy coupe utility, or "Yoot". The front sheet metal and drive train are manufactured in Canada, but the rest of it is made by a company in Australia named Holden. The Yoot has a Chevy 350 backed by a TH-350 tranny and a Holden 2.78 differential.
